[[en]]Our church was founded in 1958 as Britmoore Baptist and in 1992, through membership vote, the church changed its name and denomination becoming New Life Communion. Then in 1997, under the direction of Lead Pastor James Bell, the church moved to its current location and took on the name Hosanna which means “we are being saved.'' In 2006 Hosanna launched its Spanish speaking service under the oversight of Pastor Edwin Guerra. In 2016 Pastor James Bell retired with his lovely bride and along with the governing body of Hosanna appointed Pastor Edwin Guerra as the Lead Pastor. Here at Hosanna we believe everyone is welcome, no matter your background or upbringing.[[es]]Nuestra iglesia fue fundada en 1958 como Britmoore Baptist. En 1992, a través de la votación de los miembros, la iglesia cambió su nombre y denominación y se convirtió en New Life Communion. Más adelante, en 1997, bajo la dirección del Pastor James Bell, la iglesia se mudó a su ubicación actual y tomó el nombre de Hosanna, que significa "somos salvos".   • [[en]]We believe the Bible is God’s written revelation to mankind. Therefore, it is to remain preeminent in all aspects of life and church.   • [[en]]We believe that Godly character is above natural gifts, talents, and abilities in life and ministry. A person’s character is developed through the word of God, prayer, discipleship, a Christian worldview and how they respond to God in difficult circumstances.[[es]]Creemos que un carácter afable está por encima de los dones, talentos y habilidades naturales en la vida y el ministerio.   • [[en]]We believe that worship in its greater context refers and points back to the way we live out our life and faith in a way that honors God. In a cultural setting we understand music has its place during our gatherings and it is carefully considered as a time of reflection and response to His Word. Worship is not performance based. We teach that we should worship in spirit and truth as a whole hearted response to God’s presence in the midst of his people.[[es]]Creemos que la adoración en su contexto más amplio se refiere y señala directamente la forma en que vivimos nuestra vida y fe, de una manera que honre a Dios.

  • [[en]]We believe the purpose of the church is to glorify God by building itself up in the faith, by instruction of the word of God, by fellowship and by advancing the Gospel of Christ to the World. We believe that church is done side by side.   • [[en]]We believe that generosity is directly tied to the matters of our hearts. When we speak about generosity in the life of a believer we believe it’s a way of living and its a call to a service above and beyond with what has been given to us in time, talent and resources as a response to what Christ has done for us.[[es]]Creemos que la generosidad está ligada directamente a las intenciones del corazón.   • [[en]]We believe that the way we use our time, talents, and resources are a reflection of our priorities. It’s also a manner in which we honor the Lord. Stewardship brings accountability in the life of the believer.[[es]]Creemos que la forma en que usamos nuestro tiempo, talento y recursos son un reflejo de nuestras prioridades.
